Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 18, 2026
This policy describes what cookies and browser storage mechanisms Hyprintent uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. We keep this minimal by design. This policy concerns only browser-side storage; it does not describe how funds are handled — the Service is custodial, as explained in the Terms of Service and Risk Disclosure.
02 — What We Store & Why
The following table describes the storage items set by Hyprintent and its embedded services:
| Name / category | Type | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| privy-token / privy-refresh | Cookie | Privy | Authentication session — keeps you logged in and maintains the connection between your wallet and the terminal. | Session / 7 days |
| privy:* (local storage) | Local storage | Privy | Stores wallet connection state and encrypted session data for the embedded wallet. This local-storage data stays in your browser; it does not change the fact that the Service custodies the funds it pulls and the pooled fees it holds. | Until logout |
| hypr-theme | Local storage | Hyprintent | Remembers your UI theme preference (e.g., dark mode toggle if applicable). This value is never sent to our servers. | Persistent |
| cf_clearance / __cf_bm | Cookie | Cloudflare | Bot protection and DDoS mitigation. Set by Cloudflare's infrastructure when you visit the site. Used to distinguish human visitors from automated traffic. | 1 day / session |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Cookie | Cloudflare | Challenge verification cookie set when Turnstile validates that you are a human. Prevents automated abuse of the Service. | 30 minutes |
All storage items listed above serve a strictly functional or security purpose. None are used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
03 — What We Do Not Use
We do not use:
- Third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or similar).
- Analytics tools with cross-site tracking (Google Analytics Universal, Mixpanel with third-party identity, or similar).
- Fingerprinting techniques designed to track you across sessions or sites beyond what Cloudflare's bot protection requires.
- Persistent identifiers tied to your personal identity beyond what is necessary to maintain your authenticated session.
We do not sell cookie data or any behavioral data derived from cookies to any third party.
04 — How to Control Storage
You have several options for controlling cookies and browser storage:
Browser settings
All major browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies via their settings menus. You can also clear local storage and session storage from the browser's developer tools (Application tab in Chrome/Edge/Brave; Storage tab in Firefox). Blocking all cookies will prevent Privy authentication from working, which means you will not be able to use the Service.
Logging out
Disconnecting your wallet via the terminal clears the Privy session cookies and local storage. We recommend doing this whenever you use the Service on a shared or public device.
Cloudflare cookies
Cloudflare bot-protection cookies are set automatically when you visit the site. They are necessary for the site to function securely. You can delete them at any time from your browser settings, but they will be re-set on your next visit.
05 — Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the storage mechanisms used by the Service or its embedded processors. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
